About Us

John Carroll

After joining IBM from University, John worked in London, Perth, Sydney and Tokyo. He progressed through the management ranks and became responsible for all Volume Product Management and Marketing across IBM Asia Pacific.

When Lexmark was spun off from IBM, John moved to Lexmark as 2IC for Asia Pacific. He was appointed a Board Director of the Australian and the Japanese subsidiaries and subsequently was also appointed General Manager for Australia.

From 1993, John led a series of entrepreneurial ventures in telecommunications services, Web development, Internet services, business and IT strategy and technology consulting. Combined, these became what is now Sagacity.

John is recognised as having a unique blend of senior corporate experience balanced with a strong entrepreneurial flair.

John was appointed a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2002.
